We Know Recovery & What It Takes

Our mission is to offer transitional housing for those seeking a life of recovery from all addictions. We believe that, with the right program, people do not have to continue to suffer from the disease of addiction. They can be transformed.

Accountability.

Community.

Growth.

Our program is centered around these three principles. These are what motivate individuals toward recovery and steer them away from substances. Research demonstrates the effectiveness of Recovery Homes in early recovery.

We recommend a minimum of a 90-day residence with us. This allows individuals to learn how to adapt to a sober lifestyle while balancing work and family commitments. During this period, an emphasis is placed on prioritizing recovery to safeguard against potential losses caused by addiction.

Accountability

Accountability is of paramount importance to a recovering addict. To expect a family member, spouse, or friend to be an addict’s accountability partner is a set-up for failure. The same result can be expected of an addict attempting to hold themselves accountable. The very definition of addiction involves a loss of control!

Within our recovery homes, a person will be held accountable to attend sober support groups, counseling appointments, and living according to their values. Once external accountability is internalized, an individual learns to enjoy the very thing they resented before. This all leads to an increase in life satisfaction that seemed so out of reach when living in active addiction.

Community

How hard is it for an addict to get sober without others in their circle striving for the same? Extremely. Attempting to change one’s life while continuing to repeat old patterns of behavior is the definition of insanity!

In our recovery homes, we prioritize fostering a strong sense of community. Our goal is to help individual reestablish connections with others, which nurtures a sense of belonging, friendship, and connection. This, in turn, can inspire a daily commitment to sobriety.

Growth

Action in recovery is the growth path. One cannot expect to wave a magic wand to undo the destruction that drugs, alcohol, gambling, and other process addictions have left. Instead, one must begin the process of rebuilding themselves both internally and externally. Generally, this involves doing a lot of things that people don’t want to do. This is where a Recovery Home helps. When people do this together it becomes easier and more enjoyable over time. People begin to savor the journey.

We expect the people we serve to attend sober support groups, attend counseling, and work with a mentor during their time with us. We develop individual plans for each client to address their unique needs. Each person’s journey is different, yet all are focused on the overarching goal of growth and development.
